What is inside
- Sales: Date, order number, customer, product, region, quantity, unit price and unit cost. Revenue and profit are calculated.
- Summary: Totals by region and product (SUMIF), monthly revenue for a chosen year, and a column chart.
Key columns and cells
- Unit cost: optional; when left blank profit equals revenue.
- Summary names: type your own region and product names to match the Sales sheet exactly.
- Year: Summary B4 sets the year for the monthly table.
How to use it
- Replace the example sale.
- Enter every sale on the Sales sheet.
- Type your regions and products on the Summary sheet.
- Choose the year to refresh the monthly chart.
Notes and assumptions
- Names must match exactly (spelling and spaces) for the totals to work.
- The table has room for 500 sales.
Frequently asked questions
Why is a total zero?
The region or product name on the Summary sheet probably does not match the Sales sheet.
Can it track discounts?
Enter the discounted price as the unit price.
