What is inside
- Items: One row per product: SKU, name, category, cost, opening stock, stock in and out, current stock, reorder level, status and value.
- Movements: A log of every receipt (In) and issue (Out) by SKU.
Key columns and cells
- SKU: the same code on both sheets; it links the log to the item.
- Reorder level: when current stock reaches it, Status shows Reorder.
- Totals: total stock value and the number of items to reorder.
How to use it
- Replace the example item.
- List your items with SKU, cost, opening stock and reorder level.
- Record each In or Out on the Movements sheet.
- Check the Status column regularly and reorder in time.
Notes and assumptions
- Holds 200 items and 1000 movements.
- Stock value uses the unit cost you enter.
Frequently asked questions
Why is stock not changing?
Check that the SKU on Movements matches the Items sheet exactly and that Type is In or Out.
Can it track locations?
Add a column or a separate sheet for each location.
