Split PDF
Break one large PDF into smaller files: one file per page, your own page ranges, or equal parts. Everything runs in your browser. Your files and text are not uploaded to our servers.

How to use it
- Choose the PDF you want to split. The page count appears under the file box.
- Pick a method: every page, custom ranges such as
1-3, 4-6, 9, or equal parts of a set number of pages. - Select Split PDF and download each new file from the list.
Tips for best results
- Use custom ranges when you only need a few sections, for example the pages of one chapter.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first, because the browser cannot open them.
- Keep your original file; splitting never changes it.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a page limit?
There is no fixed page limit, but very large PDFs depend on your device's memory. Splitting into more than 200 files at once is blocked to keep the page responsive.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are, so text, images and links keep their original quality.
